As the heat increases, so does the amount of water we all use. To cope with this, South East Water is producing an extra 100 million litres a day across its supply area - the equivalent of 40 Olympic swimming pools of water.
The Annual Assembly takes place this evening in Chiddingly Village Hall.
The parish council are very pleased with the new gates on the Jubilee Field.
We now have the old gates available to the highest bidder.
The Glebe Field has now been leased by the Parish Council to MOSAG (the Millennium Oak Sculpture Garden Trust) and so the Chiddingly Community Orchard is officially underway.
Just a reminder - If anyone is interested in making an offer on the old gates, then please email: Clerk@chiddingly.gov.uk with the amount you would like to offer. The closing date is 31st March 2018. The gates can then be sold to the highest bidder.
The Spring Clean will take placer this Saturday, but apart from Parish Councillors we have had very few volunteers. Could you spare even just an hour this Saturday please?
What to do if you have frozen or burst pipes:
Water pipes can freeze if they are not properly insulated and can then burst as the thaw comes.
